NEW NORWEGIAN DURABILITY TESTS ON THE HARD METAL STUD "HM30"
The studs were fitted to a 9 tonne four wheel drive John Deere tractor used for heavy vehicle transportation. The studs were fitted in February 2005 and since then have been subjected to over 600 hours of asphalt driving. The studs have been checked on a regular basis. After seven months regular use, the following facts appeared: ALL studs were still in place and, ALL hard metal edges were intact and most importantly ALL metal studs were easily removed with the special casing that was supplied with the studs. This proves that our studs can sustain the most extreme conditions once fitted; they fit more securely to the tyre than traditional studs. They can also be easily removed and reused later. The picture illustrates a new stud to the left and a stud that has been used for 600 hours to the right - which is fully reusable.
